from parish news The fair play award initiatives has been introduced by the Football Association to cover all sections of Football from the Premier League back to the roots at Junior Level. 'Fair Play' embraces all levels of the game with the team needing to demonstrate their understanding of the game, respect for officials and opponents both on and off the field and to behave in a sporting manner. The presentation took place at the Bell Inn in Worcester where Nick Stovold and Ross Robertson (players) received a new kit (England's colours) on behalf of Welland Juniors Under 15's. Also present from the Worcester F.A. were Ken Clifford (Chairman), Roy Northall (Vice Chairman), Mervyn Leggett (Secretary), Mike Thompson (Treasurer), Oliver Poole (President of Mercian Boys League) and George Silverman (Chairman of Mercian Boys League). |
