It has been thirteen years since the club last played just one under 12s league game in Welland, before moving to 'The Hill Centre' Upton, as the recreation field pitch was too small to meet league and FA standards. Welland's opponents then were 'Newtown Sports' who we welcome back this Sunday.

The club welcomed people from the village who came along to watch the match and prior to the game photographs were taken including everyone associated with the club, past and present, together with members of the Parish Council and community who have worked hard over the years and made Spittlefield a reality for the village.
